The Voting Rights Coalition is pleased to let you know about Election Protection 2007.
The Voting Rights Coalition is a nonpartisan group that works to increase access to our democracy and to remove barriers to voting and civic participation, particularly among communities that have been traditionally underrepresented in the democratic process.
We work to ensure that all eligible voters are able to exercise their right to vote. We want you to know about Election Protection 2007 because we are available as a resource tomorrow if you encounter or learn about any efforts to suppress voters.
We have lawyers and volunteers trained in election law available to answer an Election Protection hotline. They can help handle any problems that come up: malicious voter suppression efforts, simple mistakes, or questions about how to register or where to vote.
Please call the Election Protection hotline at 651-379-0750 if you notice any attempts at voter suppression or if you have questions about the voting process.
